Hi all, while on my way to Baseball Saturday i noticed the dogs was at the track just around the corner and up the road from where i live so dropped in for a couple of shots, as theae are the only shots i took and was not going to wait around till next race but hey might be good for some practice on them dull days i dont have anything on at the Bike track.

Thanks Alex, nothing technical just a couple of snaps to kill some time but i can see this could be fun on a nice day and kill some time as i think could get some great shots.

Is there ANY action you DON'T do well?

OK, so the second one's a bit soft (at least appears soft to me - maybe my eyes haven't woken up yet  ), but for a first time you've gotta be happy :)
I guess these guys go a little slower than your normal subjects ;)

Greyhounds always look better in B&W and grainy. It's just one of them things. :D

John, you've certainly captured the moment :) Check out the vicious snarls the dogs have in the second pic. I'm glad i'm not a rabbit. (Or a meat smelling ball of fur)

Ok yeh they are dogs, LOL could be soft as i didnt resharpen them after resizing with a differant proggy, but yeh was interesting and could be a good source for people wanting to practice there panning skils. I didn't stay, just took the 2 shots and left but i think i might go back in couple of weeks if i dont have anything else on.

Good shots John but, as Sheepie said, there's some softness that just manages to detract.

I could take some practice shots myself, as this is exactly what I see everytime I inadvertantly leave the gate open and my Jack Russell gets a sniff of freedom.... whooshka!!!
