sue, the tone on these are just wow! did you use a reflector or a strobe?

but i think the guys shoot has more drama and a concept behind it

Great images, but i agree with Wendell that the male model is better, photography wise. (The girls are better looking.) The skin tones are exquisite and you've got that down to a fine art.

I do notice two things that i find distracting and that's the sunglasses and the hat. I feel they detract from what is a great image and a gorgeous young lady. The sunglasses hide her eyes, which are so important with this kind of imagery. The hat just isn't a good look.

Your B&W images are fantastic. The pose and the crops are perfect and the PP is excellent. I like all the B&W images.

The three images of the blonde laying down in the tree is the pick of the bunch. The girl's smile is contagious. i take it she's modelled before.

All in all, great stuff and i enjoyed viewing them. I hope to see many more from you  PS. I have no idea what i'm saying. I've never shot a gorgeous model before.

I tried to mix it up a bit with the hat and the sunglasses... making sure i had some shots which showed her eyes.

You're like me... i'm an absolute sucker for B&W... if i had my way they would all be B&W

This will surprise you... It was Sue's first ever shoot..... I had a ball... and I think she had a lot of fun also. I think there may be more in the future... it was a great challenge and a hell of a lot of fun at the same time.

The quality of images that are being posted here compared to less than a year ago is incredible. Mark - your model shoot photographs are a perfect example of the excellent quality 'work' people are submitting here. Well done!

wendellt.... gold reflector.... and added some bronzing during PP as well as removing a couple of blemishes etc etc.

Great shots... And you're right - I would never believe that it was Sue's first shoot...

If you don't mind me asking, how did you get access to so many models? Was it done on a Prints for Time basis, or was there another arrangement?

Yes... all TFP... time for prints.... prints in this case being a CD of jpg images at 800px on the longest edge, including a copyright on the images. basically they can use them in their portfolio or print them, but all other copyright is owned by the photographer.

there's quite a few resources for models if you are looking for some... ozmodel for one....

but why have your reversed some of the shots
it is ok when a wrist band swaps from one arm to the other but I don't think it works when the writing on a shirt ends up backwards like LESEID instead of DIESEL

Mark excellentr work with that gold reflector i use a portable strobe and the model wears bronzing cream, never used a gold reflector.
the tone is just so sexy it makes you want to lick the screen.
I guess a gold reflector is much more convenient why harness the sun when you can just reflect it.

no wonder sue is wearign those giucci style bee sunglasses it must have been startling!

yeh... the gold reflectors are great... but very very bad on the eyes if you look straight at it....

Mark - the quality of your model shots are awesome, and I have to agree with you and others that the B&W stuff is marvellous.

I'm interested in the feedback of the models ?? How did they enjoy the photoshoot ? and what were their thoughts on the final product if they have scene it.

You have done a wonderful job Mark. I think the models will be well pleased with some of these shots in their portfolios. Skin tones and exposure are great.

thanks Alpha.... The models haven't got their cds yet, but i'll let you know what their thoughts are. On the day they seemed quite pleased with the results just looking at the lcd.... but what was on the lcd and the finished product are a little bit different
