Interesting series, Well captured.
The colours are all very consistant and the colours of the lighting skin tones reflect very well the kind of feel that goes with that older style clothing I think.
May I ask which lens?
Are we there yet?

Hi Michael thankyou
i used the 85mm f1.4 prime lens I prefer it more than the 70-200 for runway work in terms of ease of use and sharpness, it's dead sharp at f4.

Wendell, i'm glad you have finally got an 85mm F1.4 as i reckon it's the best lens in Nikon's arsenal at the moment for the work you do. The 85mm 1.4 is a brilliant lens and a testament to Nikon's ability to produce remarkable quality glass.
The pics are gorgeous, the poses are gorgeous and the girls are gorgeous. Couple that with the 85mm and you can't go wrong. Still, it takes a human with talent to press the shutter button and you have done that very well indeed.

Great series. The only thing that I might pick are the chopped feet in two of the shots.
Cheers

thankyou everyone, it was a great show and photographically just what i needed.
MattC the 85mm prime has many benefits but when the subject gets too close no choice but to chop out some of the shot
Chi I told you about the premier show at sydney town hall was only for the media and fashion buyers, you couldn't come i needed an assistant.
they held a smaller production at the david jones store for the public last thursday fri and saturday
it was the best independant fashion show production outside of Fashion Week i have ever attended.

the public dj shows held at david jones stores will tour 5 states over the next 5 weeks, the production is much smaller but some models from the premiere show will be on the catwalk.
next week is melbournes turn, check local guides
This premiere show was only for the fashion buyers and media you need to get media acreditation if you want to shoot such an event. It was a red carpet event with special guest model Megan Gale.
