Hi All
A friend told me I should use "raw" and so this is the best pic out of three that I have taken so far, PS Elements took care of the raw image and then I adjusted it a little more in Elements quick fix.
All advice will be well taken.

The duck certainly looks raw, not cooked

Seems a little bright on the right hand side, you may be able to calm that down with levels Not sure of the controls of PS elements, someone more familiar could tell you how to do it
