Interesting Pharmer, like it but might try a larger f stop to see if that gives you a crisper Fosters Lager whilst still giving the light trails as the sign is one of the focal points of this image

Yeah - I should have got closer to the intersection, in front of that pole
Shame at 18mm my kit lens only does F22
Will have another go tonight if possible

Pharmer sounds like you need a few well placed witches hats, temparily block off a lane of the intersection and then reshoot it without the pole. (Make sure you have somone watching you back ready to save you and the camera if a car is coming.) Kids don't try this at home
Another way around the fosters logo would be to bracket the exposures.. and do a little blending with some of the hot spots.

agree that the pole spoils this.
only options would be to shoot next to the pole in ultra wideangle or perhaps block the lane as suggested.

Use around f/11 and do a bracket of exposures, both +ev and -ev. Then, if using
PSCS2, do a blend in HD
mode 32 bit

I'll have another go with a wider aperture (F11/16) and a few different exposure times
Also change my shooting position for a better composition
Thanks all
