Late afternoon shadows in wintertime have got to be the best :D Spotted this bike chained to a pole in the square outside Customs House and thought it would make a fairly good snap ..er.. sorry, image!

Shelia - magical...you're eye for composition and that 'great image' is fantastic! Surely you are proud of this one?? :)

Shelia, having got fairly well aquainted with your gallery I don't think this is one of your best shots. But it certainly is a nice silhouette, to be very very picky, some of the handlebars are missing.

Craig - that's being VERY picky but I guess shelia put it out there for constructive criticism :)

Very nice image, only thing that slightly bugs me is the handlebar got cropped at the top - just needs a little more space

Great tone and light, very pleasing to the eye

nice image Sheila, but I can't help thinking it would be a lot more powerful if not only the handlebars had been complete, but also their shadow at the bottom of the frame...

Maybe the full-frame sensor on the 5D will help

Well I said Very very picky :) And pharmer agrees with me. It doesnt ruin the shot, but for me that extra few pixels would of completed the shot for me.

Actually, the original shot does have the full handlebars but by not cropping, it would have brought a lot of unnecessary baggage with it at the top. I should round off the bars and add a bit of negative space at the top. And yes, it would be a whole lot more with my 5D (and the 17-40) :D

Here's another shot...first you take one lizard....

I'm waiting to hear back from my husband's contact. In the meantime, the best price is Foto Riesel but I am negotiating for the inclusion of a 1 GB card in the deal.
