Some nice shots steve, it's good to hear from you.
I really like the first 4 shots, all of them are good but these ones really appeal to me.
There's something special about seeing these ships at see, especially when it's a bit on the rough side or they're in formation. Thanks Steve - nice shots, although the wide-angle distortion is a bit too much in a couple of them

Steve love the shot of the two ships steaming side by side. Making a transfer presumably?

Difference between a good street photographer and a great street photographer.... Removing objects that do not belong... happy for the comments, but .....Please DO NOT edit my image..... http://bigpix.smugmug.com Forever changing
Thanks for the comments all. This year I am trying to create some images more interesting than just 'ships at sea.' I am also playing with filters, as you will be able to see in the images.
Chris - Spot on Chris, but i would expect you to get them right ![]() Oneputt - yes, they were transferring fuel. It is unusual for those two ships to do what they are doing as they are both 'Replenishment' ships. Normally they replenish other ships, not themselves ![]() Sheepie - I am aiming for wide-angle distortion in some images. I am practising my WA techniques for some ideas i have for when i get the opportunity. First i need to see how WA looks in a range of situations. So far, it's brilliant for Landscapes (obviously!!) Steve.

Steve - I always enjoy viewing your shots.
I think the group one inside the cabin would be a great marketing image except the woman on the far right looks like she's just done, or about to let one rip ![]() Geoff

Nice shots Steve . I love the colour in the first one .The shot of the guy with the binoculars looks good too .Has a "Sign up and see the world" feel to it .
Cool to see the Success in there .I worked on that when they were building it at Cockatoo Island.
