four layers of lightning from the space of about five minutes. problem was that the dust bunnies were breeding like crazy and I was too lazy to cull them. lol

Absolutely brilliant Mark, congratulations! How about sending some storms down Melbourne's way? Although I hear SE QLD has been missing out lately! . I hope you will print this out and put it on your wall....just fantastic!

Mark - outstanding as always I'd love to be able to take lightening shots, but have given it up as a bad joke

Great work Mark....
Sydney was providing plenty of storms there during early summer, but now the storms seem to have backed off Hope you get that storm you are after sooner rather then later.

Mark
This is a superb image. I have seen way too many lightning shots that are just that - a pic of some lightning. Technically difficult but ininteresting. This takes this to a whole new level where the rest of the scene is abuzz with colour and excitement and the well captured lightning is the icing on the cake.
And not a Goth in sight.

Superb image Mark that has laced the lightning bursts with an image that can stand on it's own merits in terms of its composition and exposure. Well constructed cheers
