Ok so I got bored and I started looking at the ground looking for things to take pics of. When I get bored, I take pics of random things
Cropped version...not sure if I like the cropped version.
C&C appreciated please

I can relate to the random photos at times, the first shot doesn't really say much to me.. but I do quite like the 2nd one, its really cool. I like how the word, almost seems out of place in the water and concrete.

I like them, like wendellt says, you make good pics when your bored. Maybe I should ne bored more often
I like number two the best, the word, with the cold and wet concrete looks out of place. The saturation level is good also.
Nice!

Appreciate the comments guys and I'll take that as a compliment when you put me in the same category as Leigh when I get bored
Looking at it now, I prefer the second image as well - can't place why (it's not just the appearance of the image, what Craig's mentioned about the electricity in water has an effect as well).
Any more critiques?

Hmm, the first dunno

maybe just not for me, but like the second... As mentioned I think it's the wet, gungy concrete covering, holding sparks underneath...

These are really cool piro. Great feel to them - nice and gritty urban.
In the first, I would perhaps revist and tilt the camera slightly to get more of the diagonal in. THe cropping is just a little too curt for me. I would really like to see the grate continue to the top left of the shot to give it a sense of balance.
#2 is very cool. I'm wondering whether this would look good in landscape orientation. Great colours.
