Something a bit different from my usual...may not be to everyones taste.

Probably one of the reasons why parking is shocking in the city :)

Hmmm, well overall this isn't my cup of tea, but as a image, I find the highlights on the left very distracting.. but I like the "dingey street" feel to the shot.

Sorry for being too quick!

there is a very cool mood due to the contrast and stark selection of this everyday but wonderous object and dramatic feel to this teriffic flippin' urban snapshot.
your good wth caera angles aren't you wayne, maybe you should apply the same ideas in your next model shoot.
I like your style!

Thanks for the comments guys. I like the dirty feel to the image as well - been trying to work it up a bit with that style.

Wendell, you're right mate - I should try and use these angles in more portrait shoots than just limiting it to street scenes. I've tried to shoot ppl from lower angles, but it doesn't seem to work (ie. they look down and look fat... :? )

Great stuff, Wayne. I like the mono chrom feel of this. Very sharp.

Don't have any experience with this sort of stuff but from this viewer the highlights do distract... Actually, looking at this more, I'd be tempted to add heaps o' grain/noise and push that gritty/dirty/street feel harder maybe?

I like it a lot. High contrast B+W always appeals to me. Great take on an everyday thing.
