bought my self a Tamron 1.4X teleconverter and attached it to a Pentax F70-210 zoom to test it out.
have to admit i am impressed with the combo's performance.
iso 200 f5.6 1/750 210mm hand held...

I got to play around with the Tamron 1.4x TC on Doug's 70-300 Tamron and I was more then suitably impressed for 100 bucks the extra range was impressive, and the images surprisingly sharp...

Seems like it offers good value for money, as that's a impressive shot from a non macro setup.
