These are a couple more of my shots from Uepi in the Solomons earlier this month. Comments welcome. Birdy, I was very tempted to grab the cray he looked very very yummy.

Steffen - I have an Ikelite housing for my D70.All of these were taken whilst on SCUBA at night.
John - I have 2 Ikelite underwater strobe/flash units. Lots of light for macro work. I can generally shoot at f32-f40 & 1/125or 1/250
There is almost no PP on these images other than a slight crop on the shrimp and sharpening all 3. The cray has had a small piece of backscatter cloned out behind the rearmost eye

that Hermit crab is a winner!! i wish i could get a housing for my d70... when i go camping up north i do alot of snorkelling in the creeks.. and you get to see some awesome fish life.. and the odd shark and small mud gecko.. but when they are under 4ft.. i dont worry too much

Congrats Tim!! Well done! (With the underwater housing you could get some awesome waterfall shots...) particularly from "behind the curtain of water looking back out!

the waterfall near me would be great for that, it does have a cave behind it.. pretty sure Slider was getting pics of it, but i sure wouldnt mind getting an in the water shot... looking up at the waterfall!
