Hi,

got a few more PP, spurred on by Stubbsy's posts.

A few more dunes shots at Hawks Nest

This second dune one, I played with the curves on it so I could accentuate the ripples in the sand while still keeping the other parts a reasonable colour, did I succeed?

At Echo Point, just off the ferry. Paddle anyone

There were lots of birds on the lake and around it. Black swans are always graceful. Birdwatching paradise, I'll have to come back with a longer lens

looks like a magical place, espcially fond of the 2nd image, that white sand contrasted over that lovely blue polarized sky, now that's a grade A vista

Hi Andre', I have to say I like the contrast in the 3rd one the best, very vibrant

#2 and #3 for me. So far as #2 I'd be inclined to dodge the darker parts of the image a touch to lighten tham a little to slighly reduce the high contrast between the dunes and the rest of the scene, but only a little. BTW What keyboard combo gives é (i always have to copy and paste from your posts!)

While holding down the Alt key, typing 0233 gives you é.

Just noticed you got the moon in that first shot. Now I've noticed I like it better.

And going OT for a mo - when I type Alt 0233 the é gets put in my Google toolbar search dialog. weird

Peter - did manage to get the moon. That photo is a crop of a lager one, wasn't sure if full photo was better or not, will play with that photo a bit more.

Paul - I liked those colours as well.

It was a great outing, still plenty more to explore around there. One can spend the whole day just at Echo Point.

OT: the é is easy on Linux, just have the keyboard defined as international and that gives me easy access to all the chars I need/want, e.g. ç è ê ë... but JED is right of course for Windows. Not sure why google toolbar gets activated.
