just wondering if the underexposure at the top of the image (tree is a tad dark near the top) is a big problem...

Dee I think this is gorgeous and it doesn't look to dark on my LCD, it perhaps is a little subtle (no knock out punch of colour, contrast or staturation) but I prefer the shot like this.. brilliant yet understated if you can bear with me..

well, i have exposed the city skyline exactly how i wanted to, but the tree is a tad dark i think...but then again, it is a silouhetted/back-lit by the city tree...hmmmm dunno what to make of it

You don't know what to make of it??? It's bloody good! I like the exposure just the way that it is, but I am unsure about the frame.

Superb as is - remove the frame (too overpowering)

Really nice image Dee. I'm with Oneputt, I'm not taken by the frame. However the image is magnificent. The silhouette of the tree stands out from the lovely tones in the sky.
I'm not sure if you could have included the branches that are slightly cropped out of frame - to the right, but otherwise it looks good to me

I agree..... the black frame is just too powerful for this image, it is taking away from a great capture..... maybe a little more off white border and a very very small black one.......

The tree outside of the city lights makes a superbly composition. It shows the contradiction people man and nature.
Very nice.

I always find it tricky to get the exposure right on the buildings, while getting the sky right. I'll say you nailed it. Great shot, and great decision to get rid of that gaudy thing around it. A simple black bar is usually all you really need for viewing images on the internet IMO.
Great stuff, you must have snuck out in the middle of the rain!!!
