Nikor 12-24

FIrst shots with 12-24 today was pretty dissapointed ( with myself) as i got there to late and couldnt set up a tripod in time .The lens seems really light and sharp.I am looking forward to getting out and about with it.Thanks Birdy,, CC Welcome Please. Stephen

Stephen. It's a great lens and you've done well with it. Have you got a CP for it yet? If not I suggest you do. A standard HMC CP will suffice.

Nicely done at the 12mm end
gorgeous swirly yummy colours in that sky, it just makes you want to lick it all up

anyways Peter is right a CPL is the perfect accessory for the 12-24, but i suggest gettign the more expensive ultra thin version, it reduces vignetting at the 12mm end

I take your point about vignetting, but there really isn't a lot of it either and It's never really been an issue for me. And there is a significant price difference (about 3 x) between the two.

Thanks Guys I have got a cpl for it Peter but left it on the bench at home :cry: as i was in such a hurry to run down the beach and try it.Its like christmas day when you get that little Australia post card>Any tips on how to get the most out of it ???.
