Took a little walk down the water front this morning ...
think i might have over sharpened these as they look a bit course maybe?
what is your pick of them ??

There are no rules in photography....but if there was just one rule it would be this....avoid empty foregrounds! Your first image breaks this "almost a rule" and suffers badly because of it. The bottom half of your image shows nothing but water and if you cover the top half of your image then you will see how lacklustre that looks. So here's a challange...Can anyone point me towards an excellent image that has an empty foreground?..Yes, there's bound to be a couple somewhere.

Shane, your other images work well. Landscapes are notoriously difficult to do.

have to agree and its even more important the wider you go... especially a fisheye ... its something i keep forgetting :oops:

sometimes you see the scene without the camera and the brain dials the other details back in for you and its only other peoples observations that bring you back to reality.

what i should do is walk around with the camera to my eye at all times :lol:

a lot of times you get back from a shoot thinking you had gotten some great pics and are severely disapointed.
i stepped back to get some foreground on the second shot and it looks better for it.
