Well, it was a very mini meet because I was the only one who showed up. Which on one level was a bit disappointing because I didn't get to meet anyone but it did give me more time to shoot.
I think we need to be better organised next time.
Anyway here are a few shots.

Hi Chris,
Nice photos! I like the first two the most. Sorry I couldn't make it as something has come up. I'm surprised no one else turned up

I think may be this one was organised too spontaneously and not too many people could respond in time. Hopefully I can make it to the next meet.
Cheers
Alex

Hi Chris
Everbody must have got scared off with the high temps
Love number 3 the colours and the DOF are great, those little birds don't stand still very long.

Chris, sorry to hear you didn't get a better turn out, but looks like your made the most of it, some great shots.
Love the colours in #2 having worked on sounds boards before this one is nice a neat (as well as colourful).
#3 The bird and posture is great in this shot.
#6 Also grabs my attention, interesting stuff

Chris, sorry to hear that the mini meet was a write-off. At least you managed to get some pics out of it
Unfortunately I had other plans last night and I haven't been online for awhile.

Great shots Chris. The reflective chaos in 8 is excellent.

Chris
I really like #1 since there is so much to hold my interest in terms of colour and texture. Minor problem is I keep tilting my head to look at it, but I think it would be MUCH less effective front on
While I like #3 I think it could have benefitted from just a smidge of extra DOF
Like #1, #6 also grabs me for its abstract beauty
