Hi all - was trying to get a shot of a pacific heron (never going to happen, just don't have the reach), when I looked down the fenceline and this cow was watching me watching her... you get the idea

Timely capture Rel. Love the colours and composition. My only comment would be to crop out the distracting cattle yards in the background as they don't add anything to the vision of this shot IMO. I'd leave the bird in the shot too cheers

And you thought you were going to walk away with nothing during that outing!
Don't ya love it when a plan comes together?

Thanks for your comments everyone
Was a pretty arsy shot huh? And I didn't have to tie the cow up thank you very much - just hung a cows head on the fence, stepped back and leisurely took the shot - didn't you notice there is no body on the other side of the fence?????
Only kidding, no cow was harmed in the taking of this photo.
Thanks again

But the local Pacific Heron population has been wiped out...
Great shot Narelle - making something out of nothing is becoming your specialty. Well done.
