What really impresses me about this pic is not just how fantastic an image it is, but how well exposed it is given the lighting variations you had to deal with.
Hi stubbsy, Pano Factory did a brilliant job. This is so far the only pano I have done, and I'm pleased it worked first time. I'll admit I didn't really know what I was doing. I knew I needed to overlap, but didn't know how much. Some photos were overlapped alot, some not much, it's a good thing that this doesn't seem to be critical. Pano Factory knew what to do.

I used 10 photos for this shot, but I am sure it could be done in about 6 photos. As I said, some of the overlaps were significant. Photoshop took care of the exposure. I really didn't do much.

I wasn't overly excited about pano photos before, but I'm really itching to do more of these.
To those that have trouble with the Tamron 70-300, you need really good (bright) light when taking photos handheld. It's quite a good lens with enough light and fast shutter speed. In lower light like this Spit Bridge photo - BENRO TRIPOD!
Thanks for the encouraging comments everyone.
