Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Portrait playJust got myself a 50mm f1.4 and quickly took a couple of snaps - those lenses are amazingly sharp. I was messing around with b&w and came up with this.....

I can see what you're getting at CC@T but, for me, the high key approach doesn't do the lens, the photographer or the subject justice in this shot. Too much detail is lost in the blowouts. IMHO a less dramatic version would probably work better. Sorry.

Well, it's an interesting use of what I'm going to guess is VirtualPhotographer, but you need to tweak those settings for that filtration severely as you've lost practically every form of detail I'd expect to see on his face... and that's not a good thing if you ask me.
