Help - Rainbow Pic x2 Dial Up Warning

I would like some help with these 2 pics of the biggest Rainbow i have seen for a long time, The sky was verry eerie / pink , with a rainbow that streched the whole sky. the pics turned out verry noisy and lacking in colour, even the rainbow dosn't have the true colour.... D70 - Hand held - Kit Lense.
