Another Primate

Here are a couple of shots I took at the Melb Zoo. Mudder (Andrew), I hope will help me the type of primate. As you can see she (it is a she), was backlit, so I exposed for the face. As a result, the fur behind the head is completely blown. But I think that this adds something to the portrait.
The lens used was the Sigma 70-200.

May I wish you all a very Happy & Safe Christmas.

Meicw

Nice subject, but I think your images could be a bit sharper.

No comments about Sigma glass anyone. Dad included.

G'day mate.

Bugger I missed this one last night, don't they have such expression? I don't think we're that removed after all

Sorry mate, can't think of the species (not good with species's's's, just love primates)...

Short DOF, be tempted to try a highpass filter for some added contrast/sharpening. Is there a bit of color cast due to glass or something or is it just the color of her that tricks me? These guys are a yellow sort of color aren't they? Love the second shot, she looks sad :(

Ah, I could sit and watch the primates for ages...
