Love the images! Great subject! Look a bit like the Somalian armys technical vehicles. Just mount the Wimberly sidekicks. :D :D

Awesome stuff Mark, and I agree with Thaddeus... why watch the grass grow and seed, when you can take shot of this great action. Thanks for being swayed and posting this pics they are great, and bring back many happy memories from my childhood (not that it was that long ago..) :)

There were some pretty amazing vehicles out there (the specialist machines were from a previous visit back in October).

The first vehicle had hydraulic suspension that could be raised or lowered at each corner independantly. It also had individual brake control for each wheel. At one stage I saw this guy (I think he is rated among teh top few in Aus) hop the vehicle sideways to position it for a run at one of the obstacles. A bit like trials riding on four wheels. :D
