By requestWell due to a number of enquiries I've picked two shots to post from my first weekend with my Nikon 80-200, 2.8 AF-D. There will definitely be more to come, but I've had a lot on so this two are some easy shots to post with almost no PP.

Aaah, so Craig, you did make the purchase. Welcome to the 80-200 club. Brilliant bit of glass. That boat looks pretty sharp. You will love that lens.

![]() I kind of like to see the boat and a fair bit of open space. Look at the charcoal shot on my monitor at home.. yikes looks a bit dreadful.. I might have to rethink that one ![]() More shots will be coming soon, but I've been sent to bed early, Doctors orders.
I have, it's much heavier ![]() ![]() ![]() But the image quality.. already has markably improved and I'm sure when I get used to it will be a drastic improvement..
You'll love the versatility of the 80-200. It's even sharp at 2.8
