That caterpillar is ugly and beautiful at the same time. Amazing colours. I bet that spider is worried.

Having tried my hand at some macro work, I can appreciate how difficult it must be to get this - it's almost a posed shot! Well done!

Thanks guys.
We lost power for about 4hrs late yesterday, so I was wandering the garden. Spied these guys so raced inside to get my gear .. 20D battery was almost flat, flash batteries were almost flat (hadn't charged since coming back from WA) and no power to charge anything! Had enough juice for a few shots.

Great image Dion nice work with the pointed focus (lovely sharp detail where it counts) - the spider is probably thinking feast for a year rather than meal

Great colours on the caterpillar (reminds me of monsters from Dr Who) , lucky you had enough juice left in the batteries to capture this.
