Smoking

Being a society outcast I head to Birdies front yard for a smoko - and of course take a couple or so pics. Shot towards the sun for effect. Critique welcome.

These shots are all winners Chris but I think no's 1 & 2 really stand out. I'm not sure if I like the spiders web but that is how it was shot I guess. The DOF in both these shots is outstanding. Have you increased saturation post taking these shots? They are lovely. Well done.

The only thing applied to these pics is smart sharpening - straight out of the D2Hs with Tamron 28-75mm

The second one works - seemingly inner radiant glow of the flower.

Now to the nit-picky things: I thought the first image's focal plane was a little too far forward, a few petals of the lower left are left sharp, while the depth of field behind the main subject fell off halfway thru.
