Ok Ok.. So its not a tiger... but its my old man.. and his nickname is the "Tiger" but he is surveying his domain and seeing which plants need trimming and cutting or killing hehehe. not exceptional... but he's not very photogenic.. Used the Sigma 10-20 Wide Angle for this image.. Enjoy

Tim,

I like this and I disagree about your old man being photogenic... also liked the title.. definite got me expecting something else before viewing your image.

Tim, I love the title and the concept, but somthing IMHO something is missing. Not sure if it is the eyeline, it is more like your Dad is about to turn around and pounce on you! Or maybe it is because his eyeline leads to a dark area in the picture.

like the concept but also feel that something is missing.
Cant say what I think it is.
Perhaps I wanted to see the tiger with more profile??

Youd have to look at this
Image

Not bad for a fella of 69yrs young... keeps the kid population in the street quiet too... youd have to be brave to put up with ^^^ that yelling at you

Tim
p.s. Cheers for the comments... i wasnt intending to take pics of him, he just happened to be there while taking pictures of the backyard..

In that first image, is it me or is there some form of hue shift type effect where the sky enters the blown-out area :? Looks like a couple of slight bunnies too

Like the composition of the image as a candid homely image, although the second one scared me!
