Rare subject for me.

Seagulls. I hate them. I would prefer to shoot them using something with high power and velocity.

Filthy disease and flea carrying vermin. Even the young chicks are ugly.

Location - Seagull rookery near Hobart.

Steve - we all know that you really do like birds and the capture of mother and child makes for an excellent pic :)

Steve, were you on one of those grey ships in town the other day?
And I agree, they are flying vermin. And annoying, they always seem to get in any shots I take near the water.

'Nah, i was there about one month ago and there was only one of us,' says Steve sipping a Cascade Blonde, savouring it's fine delicate citrus pallette and reminiscing of time spent in the most beautiful city in the country, Hobart.

That first seagull shot is really good. Even though I despise them myself I think the chicks are kinda cute!! That is the first one I've ever seen!!

That first shot is a beaut. Would have been tricky exposure, I've also never seen a seagull chick

They seem like the avian equivalent to a hyena...

I bet they're tasty... anyone know a restaurant that serves seagulls? ;)
