Well had a fun time at the weekend showing Leigh and Gary around Newcastle. Came across the bike toy run and the pics below are some close up shots of some Harleys. All taken with the 24-120 VR. Click a pic to see it larger.

Stubbsy, for myself, I must say I find it odd to look at a shot you have rotated, 1 + 3, seems a little unusual

Glen

#3 is rotated 90 degrees -cos I like the appearance better that way, but #1 is the way I took it (although I MAY have rotated the camera when I took the shot - is it concievable that there's a sideways spring somewhere?)

"Get your motor running,
Head out on the highway..."

Your pics have got me humming Born To Be Wild!!!

That's a good thing too!! Great pics, especially #3.

And an update for those who don't like my rotations. #1 and #3 reoriented:

Plus a bonus wide shot of the Harley in question:

Much prefer the standard orientations and the wide angle. It just looks odd seeing a vertical barrell sideways

Helmets are still an issue with these guys - I'll let you in on a trade secret, though: they wear them when I'm not taking photos.

Cheers,
