The lens certainly puts a different perspective on things. The couple on the RHS were almost at my 3 o'clock when I took the shot. BTW only the exposure & levels have been tweaked and the image resized for the forum.

Shrine with wide angle lensHere is a view of the Melbourne Shrine of Remembrance that I took last week. It was shot with the Tamron 11-18.
The lens certainly puts a different perspective on things. The couple on the RHS were almost at my 3 o'clock when I took the shot. BTW only the exposure & levels have been tweaked and the image resized for the forum. Regards meicw ![]()
The extra-wide angle certainly shows it's usefullness. I was there 1 month ago so i can appreciate the change in perspective the lens gives. Nice!!

Re: Shrine with wide angle lens
It's surprising the different angles and views the WA lens produces huh... I keep getting home after playing with the 12-24 and the scenes look "different" to what I saw (or think I remember anyway ![]() Aka Andrew
