Foggy morning

Here's a shot I fiddled with this morning. What do you think?

To be honest, it doesn't work for me. The sepia just makes the fog look like it is an old faded colour image. Perhaps a blue tinge would be better. B&W might be good too. Dunno really. A tigher crop to remove the sign and the thing on the left might help too.

Just my thoughts.

Thanks Killa. Just experimenting with things that aren't in full colour lol... I think I need lots of practice.

Owen - nice try but IMO fog tends to not have an even density - therefore the image should get denser as it recedes into the distance

Depending on how low the fog is lying though... but you caught me out

edit: what i meant was, if the fog was not very low, then you could still make out the pole... but I know what you mean, the pole should be less visible than the rest of the image.

Sorry Owen I was going on English fog which was man made and as thick as pea soup - hence the name ”a pea souper”

A fine suspension of water droplets kown as a mist would have a different composition and hence would not be as thick as fog

Actually, I just got back in from mowing the lawns and I had another look at the image, rather than fog it looks more like the smoke that is hanging in the air after a bushfire. I'll probably be able to capture that scene in that exact location later this summer unfortunately.
