I like Greg was unsure what these shots would be like, I'm intrigued by the story behind the flaming thongs.

Flaming heck ... i too was expecting thongs of another sort!

A bizarre subject, although I do like the first shot – nice contrast & interesting DOF. A few phrases or metaphors would go well with that shot .. I dunno… 'hot shoe shuffle' … err 'you think it’s hot in your shoes?' I’m sure someone can do better than that :P

Cheers,

I'm sorry but what is so strange about setting fire to a perfectly good pair of thongs and photographing them floating down the river?

Don't you guys wake up in the morning thinking "MMMM I might set fire to some thongs today"

I know I do! :D

OK it was for a shoot for a CD cover a friend 8 Ball Aitkins ( his real name) has a song about the rapture and a person leaving just a flaming pair of thongs behind.

hence the shoot.

I think tim has the killer shot I will have to stop taking him with me he is getting too good at this stuff. PS rule 101 for flamingthongogoraphy NEVER stand in water with your hands covered in highly flammable rubber cement and a bottle of lighter fluid open in your pocket and then strike a match!

THIS IS JUST PLAIN STUPID!!!

Cheers a slightly crispy Doug

as usual I get a little carried away with things flammable this is the first attempt thongs covered in Rubber cement and lighter fluid.

margo has suggested (A) the ultimate hot foot.

and (B) that burning thongs in queensland is sedition and I should be arrested under the anti terror laws.

You would put me out not just take photos of me burning wouldn't you ?

MM thinks "I must get assistant with fire extinguisher not a camera"
