Broken Glass

Isn't it strange how photo oppurtunities present themselves! Mowing the lawn a while ago a stone was sent flying and hit a floor to ceiling window in the house. 10 minutes after the stone hit the window pane, there was a loud 'bang' and the window started to crack. The cracking continued for 12 hours after the impact until the pane was replaced at a cost of $600.00!

Here are a few of the shots all taken with Nikkor 60mm f2.8 Micro.

Pity about the window, but great shots, I personally like 1 and 2 the best out of the series...

An expensive shoot but well worth the perception and the use of a micro - I like these :)

Great pics Geoff, I like all of them but #1 in particular. As previously noted, an expensive way to get some pics.

8) Bob.

Thanks all for the comments, It has just occurred to me that the $600 could have purchased some more useful glass, smaller round, ground pieces which combine to form a lens rather than a window!

#2 and #4 are my favorites as they seem to have the most interesting lines and patterns.
