Love the expression in the last pic. I saw these animals at the Werribee (spelling?) open range zoo. They are amazing to watch, and we got to see them play fighting - rolling around with each other like fluffy canon balls.

Mogo is a good place to photograph them. You can get really close. Merrkat macro perhaps?

Awwww, the Meerkats are just georgeous, until you see them being fed mice cut in half at Werribee Open range zoo :shock:

Always wanna take 'em home though :) That last shot is a pearler... Like a posed portrait...

The look on the MK in the second image is sensational. It looks like he/she is pretty happy with itself. The close-in crop adds some mystery to the image.
