Whenever you put "Please view large" on your photo's I stand up...puff my chest out as far as I can, and stand on the tips of my toes. I must admit...it does kinda make your pics look better. But if I had to do it for more than about 20 images I would get pretty tired pretty quick.

MAtt K: Rather than just being awkward, the reason I do it is that flickr by default saves my pictures at the original size and then next at 500 pixels and then 200 pixels. I've been asked not to post at 1155 pixels like I used to, but i don't like leaving my pics at 500px!!

Hi tarotastic,
Can you share more shots of VN. I'm interested in visiting the motherland for the first time sometime next year.

Thanks

Thanks everyone for your comments!!
Nito: Vietnam is SO photorich. Their are just opportunities everywhere!! Beautiful country with such a wide range of scenery. Great food too, although the food I had in Cabramatta yesterday was some of the best Vietnamese I've ever had!! It might be because Ozzie beef is so damn good!! Mmmmm, I love that beef pho!!
PALL: Halong Bay is in the far north of Vietnam, perhaps 3 hours east of Hanoi. China has similar 'limestone karst' scenery in Guilin. Not sure if it's that close though!!

tarotastic, my wife wants to go to VN and she is not vietnamese. She really loves beef pho and can order in vietnamese most of the more common dishes.
Its been 24 years since I set foot in the motherland. My parents havd been back 3 tiimes. My wife and I are looking forward to seeing it. But I heard the poverty is the sadest reality there.
