love number 2, but think you could improve it by removing the contrail across the centre.

I think that the contrail adds to the image.

Stubbsy, the second one really has the full range of contrast!
Best yet is how often do we get to take a sunset over the water on the east coast

Peter, these are bloody great mate beautiful and well #2 does it for me.
I think that jet trail sets this pic out the most very deep and rich on colour and if i had to frame 1 that would be it. Well done mate i love it.

I expect to see #2 printed on A3 by the weekend Peter - and then printed poster size and hung on your wall!

Very skilfull work. These should be offered to the local tourist board for sale. I never tire looking at land/sea scapes of this calibre.

Beautiful set of images Peter but #2 steals the show great composition, colour contrast and exposure great! On this ocassion, i can't believe i'm saying this

, the contrail does add to the image, a point of interest that separates it from the cliches. Terrific image peter.
cheers

Great work Peter, I suspect these are all worthy of a place in one of your momento books, or at least #2 it just stunning!

Thanks for your comments. My personal favourite of these is #2. I think the contrail makes this, but understand why some may prefer to clone it out. I have been to this spot on four occasions and this has been the best photographically. The challenge was whittling down the number of keepers.
Craig - this is in my Momento book. Should have that finished by Friday (in time for Christmas, just). Hard part is keeping the cost down. I reckon my A3 book will cost something like $150

Lovely Peter, just lovely.
#2 is great, but I think I like #3 more. It's a bit haunting and wistful.
Great stuff. Will you be able to bring the momento book to the mini meet?

I have an A4 Momento book I did as a test and will bring it on Saturday. It has less pics than my final one.

Great shots Peter,
you just keep putting them out
As most, #2 is my fav and I like the contrail in it.
In #3, your horizon doesn't look straight, in case you wanted know
Thanks for sharing,
André

#2 is fantastic. The way the blue bleeds into the orange is rather like a Rothko painting. Looking forward to shooting with you again sometime soon!

Taro
Thanks for the comment. Not knowing who Rothko is I'm guessing this is a compliment
