Remebrance DayI thought I'd share a few more shots I took on the micro meet, I'm against war, and even the thought of "the glorious dead" gets me very emotional. I hope this series while not technically strong, is strong thematically its about ..... well I think I'll let everyone interepret it themselves.

I think we are all against war mate. But sometimes we have to defend ourselves against people who aren't against it. Rememberance day is about thanking those who did defend our country(s) and never came home. There was quite a lot of them.
There's plenty of emotion on RD and you have captured it for posterity. Steve.

I'm a pacifist too, but like Steve says, unfortunately many are not. Remembrance Day is really about reminding us of the horrors of war and the sacrifices made by others who came before us. I guess "the glorious dead" are often people who had little choice in what fate befell them. And on a lighter note... This is a good series of shots. The first two and the last one are a little grey in the blacks (you need to adjust the contrast or curves a touch). For me, the best is the last one. Peter
