Full Moon in USA

I was dropping my wife off at the airport in the states yesterday and took my camera as it was a full moon. Got some interesting shots. I really like this one with the shadow of the tree from the moon and the clouds. I increased the contrast in the clouds a little, but other wise this is straight out of camera.

This one was a powerstation I spied off the side of the highway. It took forever to find it, but I ultimately found it.

I sort of have a love affair with Poles and wires as such as some may have noticed. I quite like this one I added to my collection:

While I like the 2nd one, the 1st is very cool. And I think i have seen something like that as an illustration for a movie or book...

What were the shutter times on these?

I like them all. Agree that the first two are nice, but also, I like the mood the third one sets.

It's a bit of an odd fetish though, what would Freud say???

Freud would probably say that I'm compensating for lack of large genitalia. And I'd have to agree with him, but that's starting into too much information.

Well I just checked the exif, and it turns out that RawShooter Premium strips the Exif, so I don't know for sure what the data is.

The third one was about 20 seconds.

The second one was about 30 seconds

The first was about 3 minutes, give or take by memory.

I personally like the third one the best, but maybe I should hang onto the original colour version.

Dooda, these are great, especially like the first one with the movement in the sky and the very subtle pinky tone in the left just above the line of trees.......then I scrolled down to the one you posted above  . Wow, just stunning, love the colours, the mood and the reflection. Well done!

These were taken in the Pacific northwest on the border of Canada and USA. We've gotten some early snow this year which is exciting.

The mountain you see in the background there is Baker I think, though it could be Rainier. It was a surprise to see it because I couldn't see it when viewing the scene at the time. I board as well, and let's just say there's always atleast one good thing about the snow. I have a snow set on my flickr account, if you want to check out some real snow and mountain pics.
