Caught this on the way home tonight.

Saw some fantastic lightning right over the mountains and thought, now there's an opportunity.

Stopped, out, set up tripod, waited, waited , waited. NO MORE LIGHTNING  Finally gave up when the rain reached me and the mountains dissappeared.

i really like this pic! dunno y, i think its the contrast between the two different colours in the sky. can imagine what that storm would have been like! shame there was no more lightning ay! that would have made a pretty spectacular shot!

Works for me. A great shot of the ranges. The bright orange bit adds to the image really well.

You seem to have quite a few dust bunnies on your sensor (or could be flies)

Great shot. Love that unsettled look in the sky, and the colours. Nice capture. :)

That is a very impresive storm shot. Strong colours and contrasts. Really works for me

Nice shot, great light.

I would love to find a way to get into the Wild Horse Mountain lookout during a storm. there would be some amazing shots from there.

We copped a thumping in Maroochydore last night.

I like it. A very dramatic shot. Love the subtle orange tones.

Nice, I think the glasshouse mountains are great subjects. Like you said, a little something different this time. Really like the contrast. Top shot.
