Just a few of the first photos from this years canberra Floriade.
great colours and good composition.... little too OOF for me.
what gear did you shoot these with? cheers http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
D70 most with the 80 200 2.8 ED.
I adjust the curves a little and probably 10 points saturation in photoshop. That is about the colour they were in the sun! I'm not really pleased with them but what can you do with such a riot of colour. It would have been nice to get in there at dawn or dusk or at night I would have loved to take some long exposures under artificial light. I have photoshopped a couple but my skills are very limited. I shot them for stock photos so I imagine they will sell OK for greeting cards etc. Thanks for your comments though they are appreciated  . I just always try to get something a little different but found it was really difficult on this shoot.Last edited by Dug on Tue Nov 15, 2005 6:44 pm, edited 1 time in total.
