Sculptures by the Sea (Bondi)

Hi all, We took a walk around Bondi to Tamarama today since the weather was fantastic, so I had the D70 with me :lol: (of course) and here are a couple of sculptures. What do you thing?

Called Sun Worshipper I, Created by Trevor Berry and selling for $48,000

Nice work! Someone else's art becomes your art. You have to love cameras! We could probably have some great discussions about the copyright involvement when we take pics of works of art but I guess as long as we don't flog them for money we are pretty safe.

I like them both. Good sky in both shots and the art is interesting.

Bill, I love both, maybe #2 slighly over #1. In both cases the composition is excellent, same as the colours and contrast.

How long are these artworks going to be around Bondi?

The sculptures are from 3 Nov to 20 Nov. But be warned. Going on the weekend becomes very crowded. If you can make during the weekdays is better.

They're both great shots but #1 is my favourite. Being a Sci-Fi fan it looks sort of futuristic. :)
