Hi all

Thought I would share this panorama taken the other night from the end of North Wharf. I apologise for the width of the photo if
I reduce it down in size any more it was going to loose to much detail. I may yet cut some of the left hand side off before I get it printed.

All comments welcome.

Thanks

Gorgeous shot Pauld, how did you perform the stiching and approx what angle of the view are we seeing in the frame ?

Thanks Alpha_7

You will probably laugh when I tell you that I currently use Canons Photostich program to do the hard work, it came free with my Canon powershot and does a fairly good job. I then gave it a tickle in Photoshop and added a frame.

I guess you are probably looking at somewhere between 180 - 200 deg view with the camera located straight out from the right hand side of Telstra Dome.

I am currently looking for a good pano program for the Macintosh so if anybody can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.

Certainly no laughs from my Paul, whatever gets the job done I say. I use Panorama factory but only as it's the first one I tried, I liked it and stuck with it. Not sure if it has a Mac version. Thanks for clearing up the angle, I've never been to Melbourne so have no idea what the geography and cityscape is like, by the looks of it, pretty stunning..
