I don't trust those sailors. :)

Great pics Peter. The 'Lest We Forget' image is my fave.

I agree Peter, the ”Lest we forget” is just so emotive and an excellent capture.

It unanimous (speeling hehe) 'Lest we forget' is the most powerful.
2nd is the stain glass windows.
3rd the Sailours, (pity the guy kept his sunnies on), this shot is a lot nice then mine of the sailors :)
4th, doesn't really do anything for me

"Lest we forget " is a very strong image, made me think about the fact that I was rather involved at work and missed the 11h 11d 11m bit.
Peter thanks for reminding me. I have family that I lost in combat (never new most) and friends and family who I have lost as a result of doing there bit and I regret that I forgot the day. Thanks again for the reminder.
Doug

Come one Matt, don't leave us in suspense... and remember don't throw away those rejects, revisit them in a couple of months, with fresh eyes a few more keepers might be exposed.

Hi Peter

great to see you got such a wonderful response with your micro meet, it's nice to see so many people enjoying thier hobby and passion and taking the time to share in each others comapny.
I think in groups people work better constantly feeding of each others input and creativity. Wish i was there.

Anyway i like 2 and 3 the best, number 2 shows your keen eye and sense absolute symmetry. Number 3 has a great concept with the silhouettes juxtaposing such a meaningful cornerstone of our country's history.

All good, but for me no 3 is brilliant. Very poignant. :D

Sorry :) (Watching 120gig of data copy is boring, so I'm trying to get back speed on the forums). Like the new B&W, did you get any other candids of any of the vetrans ?

No other candids of the veterans worth sharing since I didn't have a long enough lens  (left the 70-200 VR behind to save weight)
