Wedding Present...???

I was planning on getting a big print of this image to give as a more 'personal' wedding present.
This is just a quick conversion to B&W.
Is it good enough to give, or shall I just give them a toaster and a set of steak knives.
Note, this image is reduced to about 30% for the web.

I'd try to brighten up the bride and groom, they're a bit dark on my monitor.

That's what I do nowadays Take pics, print and frame to give to the person as a present. It's more personalised that way.

Yes I know I need a real monitor, but I keep spending my cash on camera stuff......

The best way to check darkness and all is printing a small size of the picture!

Marty - excellent gift. Before you go the full Monty and print it out just check the hairs on the torneau and PS them out

I think it's a great idea and a great shot. The wife appears as happy as punch!

On a slightly different note, it might be worth adding some g/blur or something to the roof of the vehicle to lessen the visibility of the hair all over the black fabric roof.

Thanks for all the advice.
The image below is closer to the original exposure now, I had to darken it on the first try as the car and the dress were over-exposed.
I will also remove the hairs on the soft top fabric, I am not sure what they are from
I agree, I will have to get a print and work from that to do more pp.
I also left the groom a bit darker then the bride, I wanted the attention more on her, and she probably did too

Beautiful candid moment. Such wonderful natural expressions you have captured. I think this picture will make them so happy. I hope you don't mind but I played around with your image in PS a little. (I'll delete the picture immediately on your request but it is being stored in a private area.) Just thought the pic might be cleaner with a zoomed in crop focussing more on the couple. Also the chrome seemed to steal attention away from the bride!! (That's what my gf said anyway!!)

I think the original crop is better, i like the white of the car at the bottom of the photo. Great shot though.

I had a bit of a play arround if you dont mind. This is what i came up with. Only took about 2 mins, but i think it really grabs your attention.

Marty, that's a little bit better, maybe try a 6x4 test print and see how it goes. Monty, the car is a bit blown and the bride's teeth sticks out too much with that treatment, but the faces are much brighter.

Taro, good try with the new crop, and the lighter version really works.
Monty, its a bit blown out now, maybe a bit too much.
I actually still like the original crop, so will give that a try.
I like the idea that you know they are in the car. Also its going to be printed very large on canvas, so the close crop may be too scary at that size.
