Ants using 500D

It's been a while since I've posted some photos. So here are some using my latest toy, the Canon 500D.

The Ants wouldn't behave until we worked out the sugar appearance fee.

I've got a lot more practice to do. The DOF is sooo small. :(

Great idea, and well worth trying again, as you mentioned a little more DOF would help with these.

The canon 500D is a double element closeup filter with a focal length of 500mm

A glorified magnifying glass :)

I thought you meant the ants were using the camera then i though this i gotta see.

I was disappointed.

I'm not sure how to get more DOF. I'm already at f/32. I can only go to f/40 and that doesn't give me much more.

Yep, the Canon 500D is a close up "filter".

I thought you meant the ants were using the camera then i though this i gotta see.

That would be a great macro setup...
