Good shots! I really like the cockatoo and the shallow depth of field but stil good detail on the bird and his comb, what lens and exposure did you use?

Excellent comp on the cockatoo.

The waterfall one is nice, but there's just something missing that I can't place my finger on, I feel.

Great capture on the cockatoo. Excellent isolation of the subject.

Dion, what's missing are the canoes, and the banjo music :)

Poon, Thnak you i'm i'm very glad you like it :)

LostDingo, That was with the 70-300 G wide open at 300 so F5.6 and 1/500 it is a fair bit sharper in the origional too. the ol' 70-300 isn't all bad ;)

DionM I agree with you on the waterfall one there is something missing i feel like the location deservs another visit because in the rain i didn't really explore it to it's fullest but rather took some relativly stock shots.

Im a sucker for "moving water" pics...and this is a great example. However, IMHO, I find the shot to almost be divided into two parts which is slightly off putting. The main falls in the background kinda detract from the stream in the foreground. I think there are two seperate pics here...but hey, its a great shot and Im just being picky :)

wow everyone must have just gotten out of bed at once

i don't think your being picky as i loot at it more there are really two kinda of motion the harshness of the main falls detracts from the flowing creek thanks for the comments appreciated greatly :)
