Posting a couple more shots from the last few days, they need work etc but at least I'm having fun!

N.B. The images are heavily compressed and on my monitor at least the colour is crummy.

Great colour on this monitor (HP 1702) and framing. That first one is pure Hobbit country! Excellent images.

Some great shots here.
like the redwoods especially.

The dust bunnies that were on the first series seem to be absent.
Wonder if you cleaned the sensor?

No Steve, not yet, just cloned out the spots! Hopefully someone on our northern NSW mini meet in December will show us how to clean etc.

Cheers,

Max

well like someone said before " photoshop is your friend "

makes a big difference to the finished product. I loved the other shots but my eye just picked up on the bunnies.

I got a rocket today (thanks birddog!!) and in a way I am almost hoping for a dust bunny to show up so I can see how it works!!

Up til now I have used the pec pad, eclipse method (which does a good job but is impractical in the field)

I expect that the pec pads will still be required but hopefully day to day bunnys will vanish with a rocket up em.

Great captures. New Zealand is just gorgeous. Pity it’s full of New Zealanders. :D
