Duelling Lightspheres

A little pic of Geoff taking a pic of me taking a pic of him... Both of us were brandishing SB800's. He had the Lightsphere II on board and I had the Lightsphere PJ (on loan from birddog). Looking at this image you'd never realise flash was used since the light is lovely and diffuse, rather than harsh like so easily happens with a flash. No PP was used in the making of this image. :D

Wow stubbsy, that is nice. I'm almost tempted to get one :)

Watch your whites btw, the shirt on the right handside looks quite hot.

That's incredible. I've heard a lot of talk about these lightspheres but didn't realise that they produced such results. What's the difference between the two models Peter?

Here's my photo of stubbsy with the LSII - I reckon Stubbsy's shot is better but this still produces very little shadow :).

Matt - VERY worthwhile but I'd go for the LSPJ!!!

The LS II And the PJ difference are:

- The LS II is made by hard plastic with the dome with milky colour as the diffuser on the SB800/ 600/ breakable
- The PJ is made some soft & flexible plastic and colour is transparency/ non breakable.
- The LSII is hard to pack in your bag and heavy when mounted on to the SB800
- The PJ is easy to pack into your bag or pocket and simple, easy to mount on the SB800/ 600.

I prefer the PJ version than the LSII. Produced same quality of colour, skin tone in both version.

... and apparently the PJ superseeds the LSII so you really don't have any choice because you can only get the PJ.

Well people. Just thought I'd mention I've looked at a few more shots taken with this little baby and ordered one.
