Well, to be totally honest, not much happens at a 7 year olds cricket game. Unless your into "wides" and "no balls" your not going to have too much fun! Luckily :? :? I was there to catch the action :?:

Really like these anymore in the series ? I was never allowed to play cricket as a kid (and I love the sport) so it's nice to see some little tackers out enjoying the game. The wicket keeper looks like he's concentrating pretty hard. If you have any more please post them.

Thanks Alpha.....a few more:

I have titled the first one "Waiting" as everyone in the shot seems to be doing it!

Cool, thanks for sharing. Looks like at least one bowler found the mark :)
What lens were you using, and did you have to be completely of the field ?? Had you considered making any of the shots available to other parents, I'd consider buying them if my kid was in them..(not that I have one).

Well picked up  Yes that bowler did find the mark.
70-200VR and not on the field. Images are cropped (obviously). I have decided a converter is required to seriously shoot this sport.

I am facing the same problem but cannot make up my mind. TC17 or TC 20, TC20 or TC17???

Ghost, great shots with a really nice feel to them.

Derek, the 1.7 is a better compromise, the 2 is a little soft.
