Got bored this afternoon so decided to visit the flower garden and see whats lurking... this fella was sitting ontop of a daisy... and was kind enough to sit still long enough to let me take a picture or 2.... pretty aggressive lil bugger tho... everytime i moved my hand to focus the lens he'd stand up trying to make himself look big and mean lol

cheers..... lil bit of PPing because the spider was pure white and blended in with the flower waaaaaaaay too much.. its brought out the colour of the flower a bit more

That is one of the strangest spiders I have ever seen.

did you use an external flash?

Used the sb800 handheld.... manually focused the lens on a tripod.. had it all the way i wanted then fired the camera off...
